Mineral Valleys Project: Part of Natural England and one of our supporters and funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund. The Mineral Valleys Project finished in 2008.
The North Pennines Area of Outstanding Beauty: Lots of information here about life, geology and landscape in the North Pennines.
Natural England: Natural England conserves and enhances the natural environment, for its intrinsic value, the well-being and enjoyment of people and the economic prosperity that it brings.
Vane Women: The Darlington based writer's collective are working in and around the quarry during 2008. Lots of examples of their award winning work and pictures of earrings.
Weardale Museum: A great little museum of life in Weardale. This award winning museum is run by volunteers to the highest standards.
Twisted Digits: Rachel Clarke's website. Rachel is a digital artist and performer and a member of the Harehope Quarry Project co-operative.
Carrs Farm: Carrs farm is an organic farm providing a camping barn in a 17th century converted barn and environmental study area.
Travel Line: Provides information on bus links to Harehope Quarry.

Inspiration for the Outdoor Classroom: 30th Jan 2013
Throughout Spring and Summer 2013, outdoor education providers in Weardale (Co. Durham) are delivering a range of 8 half day workshops, hosted by the Harehope Quarry Project, specifically tailored towards teachers wanting to extend their use of the outdoor classroom.
Harehope Quarry branches out!: 30th Jan 2013
Harehope Quarry has branched out with two new teaching and learning sites. These sites will be used for bushcraft, green woodworking, wild food and environmental art events as well as providing a Forest School location in Weardale.
Filming at Harehope Quarry: 16th Apr 2012
Filming took place at Harehope Quarry last September for the ITV drama series 'Vera'. This new series will air on ITV 1 on Sunday 22 April at 8.30pm. Harehope Quarry will feature in the second episode on 29 April.
