The Last Wilderness is a site specific theatre and music performance at about life in the Durham Dales and the North Pennines, with performances taking place at Harehope Quarry over three evenings from 10th-12th September.

Changeling Productions, in partnership with the Harehope Quarry Project, will be running FREE drama, singing, writing and making workshops at Harehope Quarry, where participants will be able to:

· Learn and create new songs and sounds using voice, musical instruments and anything you can find on the site

· Make props and giant puppets

· Help create some of the script

· Be part of the cast, performing alongside professional actors and musicians

· Explore the natural history, environment and landscape of Weardale

Working alongside artists from Changeling Productions and staff and volunteers from Harehope Quarry, we will use the environment and landscape to inspire our creations.

The workshops are open to children of all ages, and family members are invited along on the Bank Holiday Monday to join in the fun!
